Rumor #1: So ive been hearing about some new game modes coming to online play of COD4. Some include getting to drive and operate turrets from Hummers

Rumor #2 Ive also recently heard about new guns being added to COD4 online play and you have to be a certain level of prestige in order to use them

if anyone can confirm or deny these that would be great

I heard about an update that is coming later this month but I don’t recall them mentioning new guns and the other thing you mentioned.

Prestige mode is after you level all the way up to 55 then you have the option to stay at 55 or to start Prestige mode and it starts you back at level 1 but you get a new symbol by your name to show that you are Level 2, 3, etc Prestige…it goes up to 10 and once you gget level 10 Prestige I hear you get all Golden guns…a guy in my clan is a level 7 right now so I’ll find out by the time Christmas is over…I’m a level 3 Prestige right now

yea, you get the gold D-Eagle at level 55, you also get gold guns when you presitge up if you completely do every challenge with that weapon, including head shots, or thats what people who have gold Shotty’s and stuff tell me…..also, you get ALL golden weapons once you reach Prestige Level 10

Yo. I got the fucking game now. I drop 40 for it. Best Buy (in town) had that game; Madden 08, Assassin Creed, and the Simpson Movie, for $37.88. I just got to go back into town just to play online play. I’m running a campaign soon.

I do not want Trophies, Money or not even a title saying I am number "1". You can have your cheap trophies, paper titles, and dingy headbands. there was a patch as far as the new game modes go. As for the getting guns that you gotta be a cretin level to get I have not heard anything about it.

I got that shit and JHIGH help me the fuck out with leveling up even do I was drunk and was getting merc quit. He the truth on the game. If you need to learn the map quit and what gun is the shit, talk to JHIGH.

ok, the new news is the updates are not new weapons….they are new perks that you can get only as certain levels of prestige :^: dont know what they will be yet, but thats the word

I’m a level 25 on my 4th prestige…so its my 5th total time going through it if you count the original time
