Meh. Borderlands is cool but waaay too repetitive for me. Its too samey in terms of where your fighting. Its like 95% of the time your shooting in a samey locale or runnin back and forth doing mediocre missions… then if your lucky you get to fight a boss which always only seems to be in the interesting environments.
In short… the running from mission to mission in a samey environment is mostly what makes the game meh to me. The driving controls suck balls. And 9 headshots to kill fools is weaksauce. So yeah its an fps. Which is ok I like shooting things but it gets monotonous. Also the inventory system needs serious work. BAZILLIONS of weapons and you can only hold like 15 LOL. C’MON SON!
So yeah its cool but ill be trading this in soon. Im already bored with it. Anyone who says this game is better or more fun than uncharted gets the gas face from me. Like yeah you should be playing World of Warcraft like Talon said on the podcast. LMAO!
Ye I definately see where you are coming from. It is super repetitive for an FPS RPG. The environments are all the same and yes it does take the piss when you are head shotting dudes an they don’t die.

I also think it’s a bitch that in a game with hardly anything going on we still suffer from framerate drops and slow down lol. You don’t see that shit in Uncharted 2.

mm and yeah I agree. Borderlands is dull. Graphics are dope tho. Everything else is just average. And the story sucks, the ending is one of the worst endings I’ve ever seen.
i’m at level 21, with the berserker, the main guns i’m using are sledge’s shotgun and the triple rocket launcher
Borderlands is nothing but a memory for me now. Traded that and now its modern warfare 2 time.

yo be sure to let us know how that dlc is.. i may recop borderlands eventually
just to let people know, once u complete borderlands, u can do a second playthrough, all the enemies names are different and they all start off at a much higher level
for example a “badass skag” is now called a “BadMutha Skag” and around the start of the game they are at like 33 or so
the bosses are of a much higher level as well
it’s kind of like just doing the game all over but everything is advanced, and it’s much more fun than when you do it the first time, but because i have completed the game once i can’t see myself doing the whole thing again, i just want to get my character to level 50 for the achievements
