Man I couldn’t stomach it. You know. I started to watch it and then felt like this was exploitation for CNN to get back into the rating races.

The thing I don’t like about these things is they don’t really ever show what the white person thinks. I think the black dude knows he’s poor or on crack or being stereotyped against. How does the stereotypee take it?

and they we’re uber hypocritical when talking about rap. They said “Hip-Hop today is all about sex and violence, but it wasn’t always that way.” *cue lyric “FIGHT THE POWER” by PE*:mad:

Man, I feel like it was more like a case-study on black folks not really a discussion of the solution for the issue. You know? I respect some of what they did in terms of exploring the issue in making CNN’s viewers aware of what was going in our community…..but black women and white america have a stake in our conditions now and CNN was too scared to really deal with it.
