2007, The Year Of Many Many Game Dissapointments

      I’m going to make a list of what i feel have been some of the most dissapointing things we have heard about the games industry this year.
      If you want to add your own then feel free to do so.
      Ok, here it goes.

      Resident Evil 5 delayed until god knows when

      Metal Gear Solid 4 delayed until next year.

      GTA IV delayed until next year.

      PS3 didn’t live up to the hype

      Lair wasted all it’s potential

      Assassin’s Creed apparently hasn’t lived up to the hype

      Beowulf is supposed to be one of the worst games ever

      Kane & Lynch isn’t supposed to be very good

      Need For Speed Pro Street isn’t supposed to be very good.

      Blue Dragon didn’t live up to the hype

      “Home” for PS3 hasn’t been delayed until sometime next year

      There are surely alot more.

        your right….not right after the launch but 2008 and a couple more firmware updates and it will get their

            PS2 had similar problems… but there wasnt a competitor so it was the only option
            i think that is the MAIN area sony fucked up on. they didnt realize that PS2 ‘won’ the battle because it was already in homes when xbox came out and that people baught it because it was THE step in gaming. PS3 is amazing, sure, but 360 was out PS3 needs the time to rev up just like PS2 did… but since it has a competitor it is getting bashed.

            I love sony products… the PSP is the greatest invention ever (hacked)… and i REALLY want a PS3, just waiting for it

                  Assassin’s Creed apparently hasn’t lived up to the hype
                  Blue Dragon didn’t live up to the hype

                  Man Blue Dragon I believe is one of the best RPG to this day. It goes in the tradition route, like it was a straight Dragon Quest (Dragon Warrior in the US until 4) mod. Also, Assassin Creed is the number one selling IP (international produce) games this year. So I think all the damn demo games you been playing and listening to those fuck face on X-Play, have fuck your mind up Buddy

                  I do not want Trophies, Money or not even a title saying I am number "1". You can have your cheap trophies, paper titles, and dingy headbands. I am a "STORY" to my peers, a "LEGEND" for your kids to hear, and a "FOLKLORE" to keep you from dieing with fear - [b]Calvin D. Kates aka Chauncy "TRU" Talon. [/b]

                    Blue Dragon is ass.

                    Assassin’s Creed is good, but yes it’s not what I was expecting.

                    NFS Pro Street is garbage seriously, the graphics are even crappy, it’s the end of NFS in my eyes. Previous two games were better.

                    ..Still lots of good shhit in 2007 though

                      Well like i said in another thread, i actually bought the game and liked it, but it didn’t live up to my expectattions.
                      Oh and just because a game sells alot of copies doesn’t mean it’s a good game.

                        See everybody is fucking hyped about Propagnda about these videogames. It’s starting to becoming more like Albums and Movies. Everybody wants a billion things but and complaining about not getting what they want
