Valve has revealed that the first DLC for Left 4 Dead 2, will be a new episode entitled “The Passing.” This new campaign, set after the events of “Dead Center,” features a surprise event. The event is Bill, Francis, Zoey and Louis (the original cast) meeting (the new cast) Ellis, Coach Rochelle, and Nick.
The new episode is “set in a small town in rural Georgia,” according to Valve’s release, no word as if we can hear Bill saying, “Ammo here!!!”, or the ability to play as the original cast, as of yet.
Left 4 Dead 2’s “The Passing” is scheduled for release in “early spring” for the PC and Xbox 360. Pricing has not yet been announced.
