We now have a release date of November for Gran Turismo 5 and after some quality time with it at the Sony E3 area I must say that I do plan to purchase it when it is released. The game was presented in small cockpits that featured the Logitech GT Wheels I reviewed a few months back. The graphics were much better than the time trial contest demo released a few months ago. With the default driving s...[Read More]
DENIED! Here’s why we dont have any Fallout: New Vegas coverage. They had no open Kiosks to play. Everything was private.
Onslaught mode is an upcoming paid DLC pack coming to Battlefield Bad Company 2. The mode features Co-op missions where with a squad of buddies you try to complete missions comprised of capturing and holding down points etc. The opposition are computer controlled soldiers and they were no pushovers. I immediately though about how nice it would have been to have co-op in the actual main campaign mo...[Read More]
Mafia II plays like a mix between Gran Theft Auto IV, Resident Evil 5. Sound strange? It’s a third person action game and at times felt like the camera was up too close on the back/neck of your character. The way the camera felt behind your character was remenicient of Resident Evil 5. The feel of the guns and shooting in general was pretty nice though the cover mechanics were not any where ...[Read More]
Good Lord this game is not so good but more like okay. Did that sound weird? I played through the Castlevania Lord of Shadows demo and it came across like a rip off of a rip off game. Did that also sound weird? Let me try again. Castlevania Lord of Shadows feels like bad rip of Dante’s Inferno. Actually it felt like a rip of a mix between Dante’s Inferno and God of War. The combat, nam...[Read More]
I did not get to spend as much time with this game as I would have liked to but what I did see and play was really fun. The game is co-op and both Batman and Robin have unique moves and special abilities. The game is campy in a cool way and plays like a really good remake of an old school style 2D side scrolling adventure game you would have played on the SNES back in the day. The cutscenes are we...[Read More]
I played a good twenty plus minutes of Sonic 4 at the Sega area today and it just did not do it for me. I actually feel bad for the developers because the game seems exactly like what fans have asked to get in a new Sonic game. What seems to be the problem is that the game itself is something I may have had fun with in the past but do not really enjoy anymore because there are new games with advan...[Read More]
Here are the photos I took during the Nintendo press conference an hour ago. I also shot video which will be up a bit later so check back including Zelda Skyward Sword and more.
