Project Natal Named “Kinect” for Launch, Ebonics?
Lets cut to the chase. “Kinect” is a dumb name for the new Xbox 360 motion controller. Apparently the name was not the only weird and seemingly off putting this from Microsoft. The “Kinect” event featured Cirque du Soleil dancers. Not hating on cirque du Soleil dancers for what they do but at this event? It’s just weird and seems like a bad fit. See for yourself:
Slim Xbox 360 Revealed… By Mistake
Apparently an ad for the new and slimmer Xbox 360 model was leaked yesterday via a web ad on an Italian website that was no doubt premature as it has been since pulled. In addition to showing the form factor of the new Xbox 360 model it also mentions that it is “Kinect” compatible. Kinect is the final name for Project Natal.
