More health:
Less first shot kills and more gun battles
Destructible environments:
Blow the otherside of the wall to kill some one hiding.
Blast your way out of situations if your trapped in a building or destroy a building on top of someone with a tank. Cant do that in gran turismo.
Team play:
Squad based modes for strategy. I drive tha tank or helicopter and you shoot ouot that shit
Vehicles:
Tanks, ATV’s, Boats, parachutes into the stage, #JetsGo lol
Better lighting and effects
Supperssive fire smokescreens, flashlights to blind enemies,
More health…looking at your trial video the other day it seemed like you were getting smoked every few minutes plus the load screens between kills are way longer than COD.
Destructible environments. I’ll give Battlefield that but you can shoot at people through walls in COD also, just can’t alter the layout of the map because each map comes with it’s own tactical advantage. Those strategies would completely fly out the window if you bulldoze the joint.
Team Play in Battlefield is only fun if you literally link up with a clan of friends who all decide to play together. You can’t just jump online and expect to be immersed in a team that’s communicating with each other. COD is a crap shoot when it comes to that. Sometimes you jump in a random game and no one is talking. Other times you’re on a team with strangers and it’s like everyone is on the same page. I assume that happens in battlefield also but from my experience with part 2 it happens a lot less frequent than it does on COD.
Vehicles: In MW you’ll be able to access vehicles as perks for reaching certain kill counts. I like this type of reward system because it’s based on skill not random map selection. Free roaming vehicles are cool and all but if that’s one of your selling points for buying a first person “shooter” then you’re probably looking at the wrong genre of games.
Lighting and effects…really? All the Battlefield 3 demos out there are played on the PC while MW3 highlights are on the 360. MW3 is going to run at 60FPS. Reports out say that Battlefield on the console is going to run at half the rate of the PC. You played both Battlefields Brook I’m sure you can attest for that.
This is becoming another one of those Street Fighter vs. Mortal Kombat moments in gaming (and clearly COD is Street Fighter).
