as for the xbox…one red ring is almost always an easy fix. sometimes that means your cables are loose, or your HDD is loose, or a number of other easy fixes. should have looked it up the error code on google. when mine had one, it turned out to be that my HDD had some how gone haywire, and was currupting saved files (ended up losing 3 hours of progress in Dead Space, all my saved files in Oblivion..which was over 40 hours of gameplay…Fable 2 save game, and tons of other stuff). but i just sold the broken one and bought a new one, ended up costing like 30 bucks out of pocket, cheaper than buying a new xbox and so far i havent had any problems since (last october).
I called the help hotline and did all the cable checking and they said I would have to send it in…so I said fuck it
