i actually heard (read) on many sites that Microsoft PR’s were saying that Live servers had a massive DOS attack due to the inability to secure the servers fully due to the amount of new sign up’s…majornelson.com also reported it at one point, but when Gates said they werent going to agree or deny it..they took it down
