The updates for Gran Turismo 5 just keep coming. Great news for fans. This new 600MB patch improves some very key issues with the game. Much of the patch provides new ways to gain credits needed to buy cars and XP which is needed to unlock higher ranking races.
This patch allows players to gain both XP and credits in the online modes. Yes, now you will rank up and earn credits when you race against your friends or strangers online. Not only that but they have added an overall XP and credit increase for all events in both A-Spec and B-Spec modes. This bonus will be in effect until the end of January. Seasonal events have also been added to allow for more opportunity’s to gain credits and XP.
They have also added an online dealership that you can use to buy cars you may not have been able to find in the Used Car Dealership.
Other fixes include the ability to back up your save data and also now added is an additional “Personal Background Music” menu that can be accessed from the Hardware > Audio menu on the main screen or in the “Music Library” in GT mode.
