hmmm. My 2 cents:
Played about an hour or two. Beat the first boss and made it to the first hub world. I totally get what space is saying and agree for the most part. I look at it like this the FPS [FUN PER SECOND] (need to copyright this shit lol) count on this game is just too low for me. The per second funfactor is pretty low for me.
Considering there is a bunch of other shit that offers more moment to moment fun I couldnt really recommend this game. The combat is average at best, meh graphics and sound as well. Meh enemies. Perhaps the bosses are better. I would not mind dieing and doing the same shit over and over it was was more fun moment to moment.
If you fall in any of these categorys then keep it moving:
1. Have a girl
2. Have a wife
3. have limited time to game
4. Play games for pretty visuals and sound
You cant pause the game so anyone with a lady is fucked when she inevitably “needs” your attention (because she’s more important 
lol) and you cant pause the shit and WILL get killed.
The visuals suck for the most part as does the framerate and the music is ok I guess nothing special. I get why some may like it but for me it doesnt add up.
To me its like this:
vanquish: 40 fun moemnts per minute
Uncharted 3 multi: 38 fun moments per second
Gran turismo : 30 fun moments per minute on average
Dark Souls : 10 fun moments per minute on average
Shit dont add up in comparison with other shit I have thats just more fun overall. Even if Im playing through old shit if its just more fun then fuck it ill replay resistance 3 instead for example.
