Watched Saw 3D tonight. It was really bad. Traps were not all that good and the people inside them for the most part had nothing to do with the story. You could see the ending coming a mile off and wasn’t a good way to end the series which is what they are acting like this is.
The 3D sucked, a few body parts flew out of the screen but looked really weak, and the Saw films are a major example why I don’t fully buy into all this 3D stuff. It seems like when you put the glasses on the colours in the film look really washed out and dull, and in this film in particular because the lighting and everything is dull it really made it difficult to see exactly what was going on onscreen. Honestly I sat through half of the film without the specs on, only wore them when it was a trap.

Also, I don’t know if it was the cinemas fault or the movie itself but it didn’t fill the entire aspect ratio of the screen, it was literally the first film I have ever been to see where it wasn’t full screen. It was weird and look horrible.

So all in all it’s a bad film, watch it to see how they supposedly end things, but for me the true ending of Saw was the 3rd one. They should not have made anymore but I guess they are only concerned about money, not the quality of their product.
