man I might get heat for what Im about to say but here goes…
So I played a few hours of this again this weekend. I basically started a new game+ with my ammo and weapons from the end of my first playthrough.
New Game Plus:
To do so just load up the epilogue save which is your last save after you finish it. When you load that it lets you choose which difficulty.
Anyway… I think its all the peace walker I ahve been playing that spurred the interest because peace walker is so damn good. but yo I realized that I missed out on SO much MSG4 has to offer. The game was MADE to be played over and over in different ways. The first time I played I killed everyone. This time I decided to go classic MGS style with just the tranq gun and CQC and man is it fun. Im skipping almost all cut scenes and the chapter load install was only 3 minutes. Not as bad as I remembered.
If you still have this game and beat it do yourself a favor and replay it. There are sooo many things you are SURE to have missed. I have the face camo you get from the second boss and after beating it you can change to young snake with the bandanna and play as that instead of the old one. lol
Also For example I downloaded the extra songs and content and while playing I keep the in game ipod on in random mode and the music is SICK! Its like hand selected tracks by them everything from drum and bass to blues music to ennio moriccone western flick music and classic tunes from the mgs series and other konami games. Changes up the vibe of the game a lot. It sucks balls that the game has no trophys but regardless im not surprised that there is no DLC becuase im in act 2 and i have already done a bunch of shit I dint do the first time I played.
Im a fan again.
