The 2.50 update for the Playstation 3 has just been announced via the Official Sony Playstation Blog. Major items addressed are support for the new headset’s high quality modes, Trophies interface enhancements, improved Friend status display, Background Downloading enhancements that allow the machine to power off when done downloading and In-game Screenshot support for… well games that actually support it as “In-game Screenshots” will not be universal when launched. Reminds me of custom soundtrack support.
