Grand Theft Auto IV Missing a Promised Feature
It always sucks when games ship with a promised feature missing. With the release of Grand Theft Auto IV right around the corner, we’re coming to find out more about the game. In this instance, the latest issue of EGM has confirmed that listening to music through Niko’s cell phone while walking around the city has been removed. We aren’t told why, but the fact remains, a cool feature is gone.
Interestingly enough, this isn’t the first time a GTA game has had a feature changed or removed, as we recall San Andreas was supposed to be shipped on a dual layer DVD. But when it came down to it, San Andreas ended up launching on a standard DVD, with other earlier planned features missing too.
We’re wondering if gamers will be able to find more missing features once the game launches next week on the 29th. I guess we have to wait and see. Until then, let’s hope we don’t hear about any more missing features until the game arrives.
