Horror Film Recommendation

      With it being October and Halloween at the end of the month I am looking for recommendations on some good horror films.
      I seen most of the mainstream stuff like
      The Halloween Series (expect 3rd one)
      Nightmare on Elm Street
      Friday the 13th
      and soon on.
      I am sure I missed a lot of gems in my time watching horror films. Mostly interested in slasher but please recommended anything.

        Oh wow!, so many. I love Horror.

        erm, Candyman was a great film and one of my favourite Horror films ever.

        I also really enjoyed it’s sequel, many people probably didn’t but I liked how it delved more into the back story of Candyman.

        Changeling, is another great film, not a slasher, but more Ghost Story.

        The Others, is also a Brilliant film. I was actually surprised at how creepy that film was.

        The Omen, which is obviously just classic horror.

        Or you could delve into the Stephen King films, some you have to be wary of but others are brilliant. They also border on the line of Horror/Thriller but still very much worth a look.

        Carrie

        Children of the Corn

        Christine, the trailer is a bit gay but I enjoyed the actual film. It’s another Stephen King one.

                Gonna continue watching the Nightmare on Elm Street Series.
                Tonight watching part 4.
                My favorite in the series. Possibly since it was the first one I seen of the series and remember it did scare me when I was young. So it brings back nostalgia. I miss watching horror films as a kid. Nowadays I cant get scare watching them. Still fun to see them.

                  Last two I watched were
                  Candyman 3. I didn’t like it. Havent seen the second one yet but the 3rd one was shipped first too me.
                  Also seen Dolores Claiborne. Really enjoyed this one. Thanks for the recommendations.

                    Candyman 3 was poor. I’m not sure if you will like the 2nd one but I enjoyed it. I just liked how they delved more into his backstory.

                          Dead Zone seen that last night. I watched bits and parts of it before but never actually the entire movie. Another classic by King in my opinion.

                          Probably today I will watch Ju-on. Which is basically the Japanese version of the Grudge. Or Halloween since that will be on amc. Will see.

                                  I enjoyed H20. I mean they made so all the films after Part 2 never existed but I think the ending was really fitting. Laurie Strode had to end it with Michael. Then they went and fucked it all up with Resurrection. I have no idea what Jamie Lee-Curtis was thinking by making that film. She let herself down with it. It was horrible, and Busta Rhymes was horrible too. It’s funny though because despite Part III, which Michael wasn’t in and obviously Ressurection, the Halloween series is probably my favourite Horror series off all time. Each film has been pretty great in my opinion.
