like you know you play a game and it just feels like A LOT more effort could have gone into it, but they just wanted to get it out there to make a quick buck.

i find this mainly is the case with game sequels, it certainly felt that way with crackdown 2, same city, just a bit demolished, what felt like the same guns, what felt like the same cars, same engine, same power ups, that game felt so half assed.

i know there are loads more

Bioshock 2. I think they improved the controls a little but they did went with a half assed story. Sucks because the best part of the first was the story.

God of War III also felt half assed. Mostly the story as well. The fighting system was not really improved either I was just replaying it yesterday and it felt really dated.

yeah i agree with bioshock 2, i played that game and was disappointed, i think everyone was. because the fighting/shooting etc wasn’t anything special. the weird hand upgrades were kool, but that’s it, so it was really the story that kept me interested as well. then they fucked it up in number 2

something i picked up on, it’s easy to notice half assed/dissapointing games, because they are the ones in which the price decreases the fastest. about a month after bioshock 2 was released here, it was down to about £20/£25

I’d just like to try and forget that game ever existed.
