Your Favorite Games of The First Half of 2010

Heavy Rain
Red Dead Redemption
Alan Wake

I thought God of War 3 was great but the only reason it didn’t make my list was because it was pretty much more of the same. They didn’t reinvent anything or add anything new to the formula.
Heavy Rain and Alan Wake were brand new experiences. Heavy Rain had it’s fantastic story and unique gameplay mechanics.
Alan Wake again had a great story. I loved the episodic structure and the unique combat mechanics.
Red Dead Redemption not so much for the story but because it was just pure fun with countless hours of replay value.

God of War 3, Super Street Fighter IV and Red Dead Redemption are my picks since those are the only ones I played.
