It’s finally arrived people.
I got my copy just after midnight. I got to GAME about 11pm and the shop was packed. It’s only a small building and more than 150 people were packed into it to get out of the cold.
As soon as i came home i put the game in and jumped straight into some multiplayer. Was it worth the wait? i hear you say. The short answer is, HELL YES!!!!!!Seriously the game is sick, i’ve literally had to tear myself away from it because i know if i didn’t, i would be on it all night and i’ve got Uni in the morning so i need some sleep.
Anyway, the gameplay is just as addictive as ever. They really cranked it up with this one. I must say though, one of the maps i played on was just pulled straight from Call of Duty 2 and given a face lift. Anyone who put time into that game will know which one i mean straight away when they start playing.
At the time of writing i have ranked up to Level 6, which then allowed me to add my Clan Tag.
We are getting the official GameManx clan going, so when you reach that point, simply use the GMX tag.Go and buy this game people. Damn, Dragon Age Origins just isn’t going to get a look in when it gets delivered tomorrow lol.

I think I am going to Midnight release as well but wont play tomorrow cause I got work in the morning anyways I got Wednesday off due to a Holiday here in Canada so I gonna play a lot that day

So far this game is meh…
I get off work early today so ill be on for more punishment. Again I played like 2 hours last night I have a video of the multiplayer going up when its done in a hour or so but here are my initial impressions of MULTIPLAYER:
– The graphics are meh. It feels only like a slight upgrade from the last game. They didnt do much in the visual department for multiplayer at least. Killzone still has this game beat visually by FAR. it looks like a valve source engine ripoff lol. Like the art style and environments looks like some shit out of left 4 dead or half life 2 and that shit came out 3(?) years ago. it shows that the game is not true HD.
– They are overdoing it with all the fucking streaks. Very hard for new people to get into the game.
– even the menu’s are meh lol
– the lack of party chat is sooo bogus.
– the Favelas stage is dopeness
– The Street stage is dopeness
– The highrise stage is horrible
from first impressions I don’t think this game will live up to expectations.

Funny you should say that about the graphics in multiplayer, because i think it was Ign’s review that said the graphics in multiplayer were better than that of the single player lol and they rated it a 10.
I think it looks better than the first game, you only have to look at the Afghan map to see that.
I’ve still not started the campaign yet so i can’t comment on that.
I am loving the multiplayer though.
I just got done running it with space. We were killing it.

I think the maps are FAR better but the graphics overall are not much better in multiplayer at least. Its more like modern warfare 1.5 in the graphics department. They use more colors and the maps are more colorful (like store signs, blue sky… etc) but the graphics are not much better in my opinion. Its still visibly not an HD game.
Ill be on tonight. I also want to try the 3rd person mode.
