      So it’s that time of year again where we all debate which is better, Fifa or Pro Evo.
      Well first of all Fifa has wiped the floor with Pro the last couple of years and if the first reviews are anything to go by it looks like it might just do it again.
      Ign gave it a 9.3

      However i have been hearing good things about Pro this year and after playing the demo i am looking forward to it.

      Fifa is set to be released on the 2/10 and Pro will follow 3 weeks later on the 23/10. (UK RELEASE DATES)

        Haha! Silly question with me. I always go for Pro. Even the past 2 years I prefered Pro over Fifa (& yes, I do own both!).

        Pro needs to get the online sorted though. It’s a discrace in this day & age releasing a game that stutters & jumps online. Konami are apparently going back to the ’06 servers for this years installment, so thats a definate positive.

        If Americans want to download the demo, it’s called Winning Eleven & below is how to do it.

        The Winning Eleven 2010 demo is now available to download on both the XBox 360 and PS3. To access the demo, you need to create a new account and set your region to Japan. Several users who have already downloaded it seem to like it, so it might be worth checking out!

        The teams on offer are Brazil, Italy, Liverpool and Barcelona, with the Saitama stadium 2002 also available.

        With the Tokyo Game Show currently in full swing, the Winning Eleven site has also been updated with new videos and screenshots. You can access the website by clicking the link below

                  Picked up FIFA today. £26 from Asda. Tesco are selling it for £24. I had to go to 2 stores though coz the 1st I tried sold out at 12.30 (They did the midnight launch thing). The other store had sold out but found another box. They only had a couple of copies left when I got there (@ 8am).

                  I’ll not get to play probably until Sunday now.

                  I’ll still be getting Pro Evo tho. This Fifa is just a stop gap until new Pro. :)

                    Ye i was surprised to, i went to tesco and and it was sold out and i got there for 10am, and i overheard someone saying asda was sold out too. I wasn’t gonna go and get it from GAME coz it’s too expensive there but i’ve ordered it from amazon, £25, and will be delivered tomorrow.
                    I got the PS3 version.

                                So I bought Fifa on the day of release & it is pretty good, but seriously, it lacks the fun of Pro Evo. Even the past 2 years versions.

                                The goals seem repetitive & MM is so bug ridden. EA should be fined for releasing it like that.

                                I like the passing in Fifa. The way you can hold short pass for longer & it’ll cut out the 1st man. The through balls are almost too effective.

                                Also some of the animations are better. The way defenders jump in to the passes when they are trying to block them & the way players clear balls of the line too. Pro used to have that feature but it’s been gone since the next gen versions.

                                Over all, for all the glossy presentation, the depth of team selections, the better commentry, the officially licenesd teams, Fifa, for me, just isn’t as fun.

                                Roll on midnight of the 24th so I can go & pick up my new Pro Evo. :)

                                  FIFA for me…I already pre-ordered it. It comes out next Tuesday in the states. I’ll be mopping the floor with Scats Man U. luvin’ ass in a few days…Brook says he’s getting it too.
