Release date: Winter 2009

If you’re surprised by a DS game winning Game of the Show this year you haven’t played Scribblenauts yet. 5TH Cell’s innovative “write anything” game went head to head with one of the best E3 rosters to date, but in the end innovation won out. When did the tide turn towards Scribble? Somewhere between writing down God and Cthulhu and watching them go head-to-head in battle, or typing in Keyboard Cat and seeing the damn thing show up. If you write it, it will spawn.

What did I say. Did I say Nintendo was going to take it this year? This looks wild. I think this is going to be an amazing game. Very innervating.

I do not want Trophies, Money or not even a title saying I am number "1". You can have your cheap trophies, paper titles, and dingy headbands. I think them saying “Write anything” and “the only limit is your imagination” is abit misleading to be honest.
I mean if someone wanted to use a pair of helium filled titties to fly up and collect an item, i very much doubt that will be possible.

You can’t write everything, but you can write a lot of stuff. Just as long as it isn’t profane or something copyrighted like Bugs Bunny.
Some people even wrote keyboard cat and it showed up, so the database of nouns is pretty massive. Plus, they were taking notes during E3 and if someone picked something that didn’t show up, they are going to try and put it in the game.
