Okay guys, I understand how much you all love Burnout…shit I own Burnout. It’s a great racing experience hands down, but has anyone been playing Motorstorm: Pacific Rift? This game is f*ckin incredible!!!
The maps are some of the most impressive I’ve ever seen. The division of the terrains into the 4 elements (earth, air, fire, water) was simple yet ingenious and the various routes you can take provide endless replay value.
The vehicles themselves give players with so much variety yet there is so much strategy in the game that no matter what bike, car, or truck you pick, in the hands of a skilled racer they are all perfectly balanced.
Also, the buttons are perfect for racing. Not too complicated but not just gas and break. Lastly I would like to mention the two racing perspectives.
As fun as third person racing is when you jump inside the vehicle and race first person you really get to see just how amazing this game is. This is the first racer in which I actually prefer to race first person due to the share joy I get from feeling every rock and patch of grass I race over. This game is as close to perfect as racers get…stop frontin. I give it a 5 out of 5. Please point out a flaw if you see one.
Please let me know what you think and also if you think Burnout is better than Motorstorm let me know why???
It was always a game i would get considering i loved the first game, and after playing the demo it just confirmed that it was an incredible game. I will pick it up soon enough and then we can run some games.

Damn. This is a hard one. Both have great online and offline modes but I think Burnout wins. There are more vehicles in burnout a HUGE map and for the money I think you get more. Both are great games.
I’ve been trying to get into Burnout but it isn’t just a pick up and play kind of game. For me Motorstorm is. Brook have you tried the first person view in Motorstorm? It is absolutely beautiful.

Soooooooooooooo i got my game today and just as i was playing through single player mode i got an invite to play in an online race from someone called brooklyniteOne.
Well i have spoken to this person a few times and he likes to throw around the trash talk alot, he said something about me eating his dust.
So when i got this invite i was quite nervous as i had literally only played a couple of races. I don’t know the tracks and he has apparently had it for a while now.
Anyway i bit the bullet and accepted his invite. as was expected (sigh)…………………………… I WON BITCHES!!!!!!LMAO!!!!!! yo brook i told you it would only take me a couple of games to get back into it. Most of those tracks we played on was the first time i had ever been on them before. The only reason you finished in front of me on one of those races was because i went the wrong way.
So ye, you ate my dust, and soon enough Space will be eating it too

The only reason you won two of those races is because both times I was ahead of you and crashed right before the finish line. I hadnt played it in months and popped it in when I saw you playing it but guess what. Im back on it sucka! LOL
