Want a little taste of one of the biggest titles of the next few months? Well, IGN has come over all generous and will be handing out UK and EU beta keys for Resistance 2 this coming Monday, offering a chance to sample the multiplayer side of the highly anticipated PlayStation 3 sequel.

Full details on how to access the beta will go live on Monday, but if you want a heads-up there’s a simple way to jump the queue. GameSpy users who have downloaded Comrade will be notified an hour before the keys go live, virtually guaranteeing a place in the beta.

Not a member of GameSpy? To get an account, simply register at any IGN site – you can even do it on this very page. Once logged in, download Comrade here, and then befriend the FilePlanet Ambassador by clicking here. And voila, if you keep your wits about you you’ll be shooting your little heart out come Monday night.

Of course, you could just rely on your trusty F5 button come Monday – either way, keep your browser pointed at IGN to find out all the details.

Well it looks like this is only for UK and EU gamers so that makes me happy if i can can get my hands on one. Not sure about the US beta though.

Cooperative is nice, Competitive is horrible. To many fucks on this shit talking shit, not trying to work together on the 30 on 30 maps. No co-existing whatsoever

Keys will be going live later on today, so keep your eyes affixed to the site and your finger hammering the F5 button. If you haven’t the stamina to keep the screen refreshed, there is an alternative – why not read all about it over here?

Either way, be sure to keep your browser set to IGN.com and watch out as your chance to get involved with the Resistance 2 beta goes live later today.

I was soooooooooooo pissed off when i read that shit yesterday but as long as it hasn’t been cancelled altogether then it’s ok. Resistence isn’t high on my priority list anyway so it’s all good.

Man every team I play for sucks. We lost 3 games in a row, and I’m always Top 5 on team and Top 10 on leaderboards. Damn shame, communication sucks ass on the PS3. :mad:
