PS3 (v2.50) Update Announced Bluetooth, Trophy Upgrades

The 2.50 update for the Playstation 3 has just been announced via the Official Sony Playstation Blog. Major items addressed are support for the new headset’s high quality modes, Trophies interface enhancements, improved Friend status display, Background Downloading enhancements that allow the machine to power off when done downloading and In-game Screenshot support for… well games that actually support it as “In-game Screenshots” will not be universal when launched. Reminds me of custom soundtrack support.

Seen that earlier and thought it was nothing worth it wild, you forgot about the 5.00 PSP update

I downloaded it late last night. (after beating BA in wipeout … LOL)

I didnt check the trophy display updates I was too busy but it seemed like all of the upgrades were behind the scenes.

first and foremost fuck you sony for making me get this update the hard way by going to the site and downloading it wtf, you mafuckas suppose to prompt me and shit, and i know they fucked up because i went to my homeboy’s dorm and he didnt get prompted either…….:mad:

hmm, i don’t kno if i’ll bother with trophies too much, it’s not really a score u get, they seem like a poor mans version of achievements, a much far less obvious bite in other words

for me the strongest reason to buy ps3, is cos i kno some people that have it and i wanna be playing with them online with games like fifa, pro evo, pure etc etc
