Bionic Commando looks set to miss its previously slated release window of August 14 in Europe, with Capcom recently confirming that the game’s launch date is now up in the air.
Picked up by Eurogamer, it follows on from previous Capcom downloadable titles such as Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3 and 1942: Joint Strike in being delayed in European territories.
Eurogamer has more on the reasons for the delay, citing a recent interview with Sony Europe’s David Reeves from this year’s E3.
“When the US launches, we could launch in Australia and we could launch in New Zealand and the UK,” said Reeves, “but if we did that then our colleagues in Italy and France and Germany and Spain would not be very happy so we’ve chosen to stick to the strategy of doing it pan-European and pan-Australia and New Zealand.”
The delay doesn’t affect either the US launch, which still stands firm at August 14, nor the Xbox Live launch which releases globally on August 13.

Man i’m pissed, i’ve been looking forward to this for ages and i’ve just read the review of the game on ign and it turns out that the co-op mode is only available offline, so no one on the site will be running this shit together.

That;s fucked even though my 360 is dead right now I was looking forward to downloading this tommorow and running through some co-op.
Capcom never said the co-op would be online. They actually pretty early on they said that there would be NO online for any of the multiplayer modes.

the original was only one player. Im surpised they added the multiplyer co-op plus battle modes at all plus its only $10. You cant really complain at that price man.

Graphics are shit hot.
Using the bionic arm to swing around takes abit of getting used to you but it’s not that hard.

I tried the demo this morning and the shit looks great man. Im getting the PS3 version tomorrow (cant believe I just said that LOL ) since it has remote play on the psp.

Oh my god this game is so addictive.
I was killing the challenge rooms before. On one of them i got ranked 6th in the world. I know you might be thinking that maybe thats not too hard considering the game was only released today but you would be surprised how many people are already on the online leaderboards.
