Soulcalibur IV Ships Two Million
Fighting franchise floods the market.

August 7, 2008 – Namco Bandai today announced that the latest installment in the long running Soulcalibur series, Soulcalibur IV, has shipped more than two million units to retailers worldwide. It is important to note that shipping two million units and actually selling two million units are different things entirely.
Released on July 29, Soulcalibur IV returns the series to its roots, explaining the origins of the heralded lineage. The long list of fighters includes both old faces and new, most notably Yoda on the Xbox 360 version and Darth Vader on the PlayStation 3.

This is a big boost for Namco. They will need to use this to capitalize on a new game release that they can put hell of promotion towards.
