Target Announces 360 Price Drop
New lower price official.

July 12, 2008 – Microsoft still hasn’t officially announced a price cut for the Xbox 360, but Target has. In a media alert sent out this evening, Target says that the rumors of an upcoming Xbox 360 price cut “have become a reality.” The alert confirms the new price as $299, a 50 dollar discount over what you previously had to pay.

The retailer is looking to attract consumers looking to take the plunge and buy a 360 at the lower price by also offering a $25 gift card to those that buy the Pro bundle.

Crazy. I think this is a gimmick to get more folks into shopping at Target again.

I do not want Trophies, Money or not even a title saying I am number "1". You can have your cheap trophies, paper titles, and dingy headbands.
