It came, it mucked about with everyone’s PlayStation 3 and then it got reined back in by the powers that be, and now Sony’s firmware update 2.40 can be firmly consigned to the memory banks as its fully functioning successor finally goes live.
Version 2.41 brings Trophy Support and the much requested in game cross media bar, and everything that 2.40 boasted, apart from the latter’s propensity to freeze consoles.

Thankfully i had no problems with installing 2.40.
Only thing that pisses me off is that it takes awhile to load up other peoples profiles to view their level and trophies.

When 2.40 was released last week sony apparently got aload of complaints from people stating that when they tried to download and install the software it would make their PS3 crash and shit.
