Wesley Snipes was sentenced to three years in prison on tax charges Thursday, a victory for prosecutors who sought to make an example of the action star by aggressively pursuing the maximum penalty. Snipes also received the maximum fine – $5 million for ‘evading the federal government of over $15 million in taxes.

I don’t understand why he doesn’t pay. He has the money and then some. We talked about this in my government class today. Teacher said that Wesley evaded his taxes because his accountant was “sleezy”. He felt he wasn’t breaking the law. He didn’t trust his accountant. I don’t know the whole story.
