Ben Heck’s been at it again, and he created one that’s being auctioned off for charity.

See Sony, now you really can call it a computer.
It would seem there is no end to what master modder Ben “Heck” Heckendorn can do with a next-gen console.

First, Heck created an XBox 360 laptop with a built-in camera and all sorts of other portable goodness. This week, the PS3 went under the modder’s saw and torch and came out the other end as a slick looking portable laptop.

Well, it’s portable if you consider 16 pounds light enough to lug to the airport or the library. Other specs include:

Original backwards-compatible 60GB model
17-inch LCD HDTV screen: 720p
HDMI-DVI connection
Built-in keyboard and USB ports
stereo speakers, headphone jack

Engadget is auctioning off this PS3 masterpiece for charity, so if you want a one-of-kind piece of video game history in your hands, get bidding. Just remember to factor in the price of a back brace and physical therapy if you win.
