The huge gaming news recently was that the HD-DVD format was to be discontinued, meaning that the PS3 would have a clear edge (in terms of watching videos) over the xbox 360.

The even bigger news coming out today is that microsoft has developed a blu-ray peripheral drive that will most likely come out within 3 months.

it coulda been a lot worse for MS if they made hd-dvd built in to every model. they woulda lost so much money.

but then again maybe not; it could have made the market for hd-dvd’s so much bigger because to me at least, it seems insane to spend $180 to be able to watch hd-dvds. we’ll never know

edit: the 180 being on top of the x amount of hundreds you spend for your xbox 360

Don’t really care about all this HD-DVD and Blu-Ray stuff because i do not own a HD Ready TV yet, so it really makes no difference.

basically….
i only know of one person who even owns a high def tv. and thats only because it was out of the box off the back of the truck type sh..

Still 3 lefts from making the right move;)...

thats what i did. i have an hdtv thats colors are mad fucked up. like on the left and right side of the tv everything is displayed with a red double image of it. suprisingly i dont think it has affected me as much as i thought it would; except in nba 2k8 – most of the time i have no idea where the 3 pt line is .

i dont use it as an excuse when i do bad in games tho.
