I was playing this on live yesterday and some guys were having the same discussion about the sniper rifle.
you just suck…lmfao
1. if you dont like who you are matched with, then leave and find another game
2. when using a sniper, depending on which gun it is, it has kick to it so if you are aimed right at someone, sometimes the gun will kick and you will miss, its called realistic, you have to learn to adapt with your shots, I always aim for the chest because you have a cushion just in case it kicks a different direction
3. Bullets do lose impact when they go through walls but there are perks you can equip so it wont
4. dont ever think people cant see you in that game because as soon as you shoot a sniper rifle you give away your postion, all someone has to do is fire in your vicinity and hope they get you
5. you cant get angry at a game because you got online and didnt do well your first time, thats how all games are online, there are always people better than you who have been playing longer, you cant blame the game, I bet if you got 200 kills and only 50 deaths you wouldnt be complaining about a thing

i hear u i was just joking in my post, thats how everygame is, my first time online i was getting killed left and right, but now i got better and i be killing people like shit, but theres still some games in withc iget get beat alot, it’s just the way things, are.. and the sniper thing I had someone;s head in my cross-hair held my breath let the bad boy, rip…. and missed, dude shot me 3 time’s with the ak and killed, me….

yo to me call of duty 4 looks waay better than halo 3 but I have WAAAY more fun playing halo 3. Call of duty 4 is just too much. The helicopter strikes the people that just sit and wait the whole game sniping. When I played the first time it was a team match and these kids were bitching that I was causingt he team to loose. I kept getting sniped over an over… and the shit wasnt fun. Maybe halo has better matching than cod 4 but whatever it is I still like halo more.

aslo, why should i leave the game for matching me with unevenly ranked players? if its a game flaw why should i have to fix it? does it make more sense for everyone who doesnt like their matchups to leave the game OR for the people that made the game to put some effort into a decent rank sysytem???
Also, i understand they can see my position when i fire… what im saying is how he can shoot me from miles away with a close range gun and i cant hit him from the same distance with a gun thats meant to shoot that distance?
and as for the ‘kick’ thats just a lame ass excuse… if there was a kick it be in effect all the time, my problem is that it seems to be a random ‘hit/miss’and btw i dont know the exact numbers…im sure it wasnt 200 times and it was probably more like 4 hours
1. its a realistic game, very realistic, perks just make it a game…just like respawning, once your dead in real life you can’t come back
2. you probably got matched with uneven players because the game has been out for some time now so its going to be hard to find newbs on it, if there arnt any on then you wont get matched with any….it does put you in the first avaiulable game with members around your level, but sometimes nobody is on that has an open game form your level, or maybe half the guys will be higher ranked because they are in parties with guys on a lower level so they play together
3. you just cant shoot worth a shit then, cuz I can hit people pretty far away with a SMG which is used for close range combat, but I can also hit people with a sniper no problem
4. the sniper does have kick to it, if you notice when you shoot, the gun doesnt sit in the same spot..especially with the 50 Cal., that has the most problems with the kick, maybe a couple of hits came from it kicking and the guy moved into the bullet, it happens…thats why I said aim for the chest…and play Hardcore if you want it to be really realistic

haha, i told you in the other thread you cant just run out in the open on COD4
COD4 = is for the tactical players who have patience to wait for the good shot and work with their team to watch eachothers back
Halo 3 = for the run and gun player who just like to run around and shoot and throw grenades
every single person Ive seen complain about COD4 or say they think its not a very good game are people who complain how they die alot….funny
