Just how long will PS3 owners have to wait?

Valve Software’s Orange Box launches on PC via Steam this week, with the Xbox 360 – and PC retail – version out October 19. But meanwhile, PS3 gamers are being left to twiddle thumbs while waiting for a confirmed release date.

Retailers are suggesting November 16 or November 23, but according to EA a precise release date has yet to be nailed down. The PS3 version is being handled by EA rather than Valve Software; the publisher is still listing the release date as TBA in its schedule. It’s probably waiting to hear from Valve…

Previously, it was confirmed that the PS3 version of Orange Box would be out a few weeks later than the PC and Xbox 360 outings, but a lack of exact date is officially worrying. Is it going to slip into 2008?

In case you need reminding, Orange Box includes Half-Life 2, HL2: Episode One and Episode Two, Portal and Team Fortress 2. And it’s going to be awesome. Look for our review later this week.

I kinda feel like EA is playing games with sony…I mean the current ceo use to work for M$ so I wont be surprised if its true

yea Im tryin’ to get back on the Playstation bandwaggon but I constantly on my 360 cuz they got games that appeal to me……. I play any game that appeal to me…… but I best to see the PS3 version should be killin’ it

hell yea they is cuz that shyt drop yesterday on the 360……. Sony is startin’ to get the Sega treatment like EA did to em on the Dreamcast no games

hell yea madden 08 is proof….60fps on the 360 and 30fps on the ps3 when sony gave them the development tools to produce the max results for the system

There was talk about the late date before he got to EA.
It may come out that first week in Dec. Development is what killing ps3 ports and will keep on for another couple of months
